Three counties test terrorism response

Emergency services across three counties tested their response to major terrorism incidents last week.

On 12 and 13 June, the multi-agency exercise led by Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU) tested the specialist capacities across policing.

Cambridgeshire Constabulary, Essex Police and Norfolk Constabulary all took part in the exercise, including local officier and specialist teams from Counter Terrorism Policing.

It involved a 'live-play' incident involving fictional, linked terrorist attacks across Essex, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
