The last few weeks have seen horrific violence across the country and prosecutors and police have said terrorism charges are being considered in some cases. This issue takes a look at how the riots began, how they ended and what needs to be considered for the future.  

This is our first issue since the new government took over, so we'll take a look at where we're at with Martyn's Law, as well as some of the other security matters the new government will have to deal with.  

As the new football season begins, the FSOA sets out some of the security actions being taken ahead of and during the new football season.  

The PSSA dives into impact testing configurations for HVM and the NTIA underlines the importance of consistent standards in frontline door security, while the NPSA will look at the role of security control room operators.
