Man arrested after disturbance on flight to Glasgow

A 41-year-old man has been arrested after police were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance on a flight arriving into Glasgow around 8.20am on Sunday, 27 July, 2025.

Videos of the incident are being assessed by counter terrorism officers.

Police believe the incident is contained and no one else was involved.

News outlets have reported that videos are circulating online showing a man shouting “death to America, death to Trump” and “Allahu akbar”.
