Staffordshire man arrested on suspicion of terrorism

A 28-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent has been arrested by Staffordshire Police today (Wednesday 2nd April) on suspicion of terrorism offences.

The police detained the man following an organised, intelligence-led operation.

The man has been arrested on suspicion of supporting a proscribed organisation and inciting racial hatred.

Staffordshire Police are yet to disclose the exact location of today’s operation.
