Suspected Russian spies arrested

The BBC has reported that three people suspected of being spies for Russia have been arrested.

The Bulgarian nationals have been remanded in custody since February.

All three are charged with "improper intention", and are alleged to have had these knowing they were fake.

Orlin Roussev, Bizer Dzhambazov and Katrin Ivanova have been arrested under under the Official Secrets Act by counter-terrorism detectives from the Metropolitan Police.

The three have lived in the UK for years, working a variety of jobs and living in a series of properties.

They are due to go on trial at the Old Bailey in January and are yet to enter pleas.
