First CTB365 event to take place on 16 July

UK lockdown has seen us unite as a nation but at the same time it has opened a new network of opportunity for terrorists. Online activity has doubled since the beginning of lockdown and there are experts that fear that this will enable radicalisation opportunities for terrorists.

Therefore protecting our Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) is of paramount importance… And now more than ever as we ease out of lockdown and the UK focuses on getting the economy moving again.

In reaction to the coronavirus pandemic and ongoing changes to normal working patterns, we have taken the decision to repurpose all Counter Terror Business events and broadcast them online, under our new platform - Counter Terror Business 365 (CTB365).

Moving forward, CTB365 will become a permanent component in the Counter Terror Business Suite of Products, with new and exciting events, staged in addition to the planned 2020 calendar.

The first digital event, taking place on 16 July, will be hosted by counter terror expert Philip Ingram, who will provide an opening address on whether UK businesses are winning against the threat of international terrorism.

Other sessions that will be taking place will ask whether the UK's critical national infrastructure is more vulnerable to cyber attacks or physical attacks, the role of biometric solutions in protection infrastructure and the role of IoT in managing vulnerabilities in a digitised world.
