Attack in Turkey kills five

At least five people have been killed in an attack at Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) near Ankara. 22 people were injured.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Turkish government has said the military has struck sites in Iraq and Syria linked to the PKK, which it blames for the attack.

Videos have been shared which show at least two people shooting guns at the site. Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said that a woman and a man had been "neutralised".

The PKK (Kurdistan Workers' Party) is a banned terrorist organisation in Turkey and the UK.

In Turkey, there is a media blackout on sharing details of the attack and people in the country have reported not being able to use social media sites like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and X
