Three people charged with funding terrorism

Three people from London are due in court charged with funding terrorism.

The charges come after an investigation by the Met's Counter Terrorism Command.

Olga Monpeke, 72, from north London; Vanessa Atim, 31, from east London, and Stella Oyella, 52, from east London, are due to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, charged with Terrorist Fundraising.

The charges relate to alleged offences between March and October 2017 involving terrorism in Syria.

The three first appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 9 November.
