9 people killed in Austrian school shooting

9 people have been killed in a shooting at a secondary school in Graz, Austria.

6 of the victims were female and three were male. 12 other people have also been injured.

The suspect is a 21-year-old Austrian man, who police have said died by suicide in the school bathroom. According to local police, he was a former student who did not graduate. He was not previously known to police.

Police reported that two guns were used in the attack, a long gun and a handgun, both of which were legally owned.

Following the attack, Austria will observe three days of mourning and a minute's silence will be held tomorrow across the country.
