UK government freezes suspected terrorist group's assets
Yesterday (8th January 2025), the government announced they would freeze all of Blood and Honours assets, who are suspected of being involved in terrorist activities through promoting and encouraging terrorism, seeking to recruit people for terrorist activities, and channeling funds into these activities.
All assets in the UK belonging to or controlled by Blood and Honour must now be frozen, and no British citizen can deal with the funds, nor can they make any financial resources available to the group, unless they have obtained a licence from HM Treasury or an exception applies.
This is the first time such action has been taken using the Treasury-led Counter-Terrorism sanctions regime to target extreme right-wing terrorism. The UK is working proactively to stop terrorist financing and is ready to take action against any threats or adversaries.
