Taylor Swift concerts in Vienna cancelled over security concerns
Three upcoming Taylor Swift concerts in Vienna have been cancelled following a possible security threat.
The performances, part of the singer's Era's tour, were due to take place over the next three days (8 to 10 August) at the Ernst Happel Stadium, but have now been cancelled over security concerns.
A statement from the organisers on Instagram, Barracuda Music, said: "Due to confirmation by government officials of a planned terrorist attack at the Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three planned shows for everyone's safety."
The statement added: "All tickets will be automatically refunded within the next 10 working days."
Two people have been arrested in connection to the planned attacks, and investigations are continuing.
Austrian authorities said one of them was a 19-year-old man.
