SIA gets new non-executive director

The minister for safeguarding has appointed Duncan Worsell MBE as a non-executive director to the Board of the Security Industry Authority.

Worsell has previously worked with the Civil Nuclear Constabulary and his qualifications include a Masters in Business Administration, Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Management and programme management. Duncan is an Associate Member of the Security Institute.

SIA chair Heather Baily said: "I am delighted to welcome Duncan Worsell as a new non-executive director and member of the Authority. His professional background in national infrastructure security complements the skills of existing members and I know he will bring a useful perspective to the Board discussions."
