Wales man charged with public order offences

Officers from Counter Terrorism Policing North East, supported by Welsh Extremism and Counter Terrorism Unit, have charged a 49-year-old man from Wales with Public Order offences.

James Allchurch from Pembrokeshire was charged with fifteen offences contrary to section 21(1) Public Order Act 1986 (distributing a recording of sounds stirring up racial hatred).

The charges follow his arrest as part of a pre-planned operation in December 2019.

Allchurch will return to the Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on 15 September.
