CYBERUK programme unveiled ahead of May conference

The National Cyber Security Centre has unveiled a wide-ranging programme for this year’s CYBERUK, one month out from the opening of the flagship conference.

The overall theme of CYBERUK 2022 builds on the National Cyber Strategy and will examine what it means to take a whole of society approach to cyber security. Ransomware, future technologies, defending the UK at scale and building a diverse workforce will be just some of the topics covered over the two-day conference in Wales.

The release of the programme of events comes after the NCSC revealed last week the headline speakers for CYBERUK, including two of U.S. President Joe Biden’s key advisers on cyber security.

Lindy Cameron, CEO of the NCSC, said: “This year’s CYBERUK promises to be a great occasion, with two days of thought-provoking discussion and insightful speakers. Our programme offers something for everyone in the cyber security community, from hearing about how other organisations dealt with incidents to the latest international perspectives on future technologies. With a month to go until the event opens I would urge cyber security leaders and professionals to register and take advantage of the fantastic array of speakers and sessions we have on offer.”

The NCSC is hosting the flagship conference at the ICC Wales in Newport on 10-11 May.
