ISIS claim Kabul suicide bombing

A local branch of Isis has claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing in Kabul which killed 20 people. Dozens more were injured in the attack near the foreign ministry.

Isil, a local branch of Isis, published a statement confirming the attack. Isis said a group member and “martyrdom-seeker” named Kheiber al-Qandahari detonated an explosive vest outside the ministry.

Deputy minister of information and culture of the Taliban governement, Muhajer Farahi said: “There was supposed to be a Chinese delegation at the foreign ministry today, but we don’t know if they were present at the time of the blast”.
