Texas mall shooter held Neo-Nazi beliefs

It has been revealed that the Texas mall gunman, who killed eight people and injured seven, held white supremacist and neo-Nazi beliefs.

Mauricio Garcia opened fire at a mall in Allen, Texas on Saturday with an AR-15-style assault rifle and was killed by police.

The 33-year-old had brought eight legally-purchased weapons to Allen Premium Outlets. He had three weapons on his person and five in his vehicle.

An online account belonging to Garcia was found to have Nazi-related images and rants against women and minorities. He also shared extremist views about mass shootings and white supremacy.

It has also been reported that he had a swastika tattoo. Garcia is reported to have been wearing a RWDS patch at the time of the attack.
