Protect Duty App now available on Android

The Protect Duty action card app launched by Counter Terrorism expert Chris Phillips and app developer YUDUSentinel is now available on Android.

The app provides free action cards for counter-terrorism advice and training and aims to raise understanding and knowledge for security guards and those who work in publicly accessible locations.

At the initial launch of the app, Phillips commented: “The Manchester Arena bombing was a wake-up call that exposed a weakness in risk assessment, staff training and response to terrorist attacks. Crowded spaces have always been a top target for terrorists and the upcoming legislation on The Protect Duty will strengthen defences. I am convinced this new app will help make these places safer and potentially save lives.”

YUDU Sentinel CEO Richard Stephenson commented “It has been a pleasure to harness Chris Phillip’s expertise in developing this app. We have made it free and without data collection to ensure it can be easily adopted by all organisations. The concept is for continuous training by using the quiz with the onus on self-improvement."

The app was already available on the Apple App Store.
