Attack on Thai nursery kills dozens

According to police in Thailand, at least 28 people, including children, have been killed in an attack on a daycare centre in Thailand.

Police said that a former police officer opened fire at the pre-school child daycare centre in Nong Bua Lamphu, in the north-east of the country.

The attacker shot and stabbed the victims, including adults and children.

He then later killed himself.

A motive for the attack is not known.
