ESF Secure is a specialised division of Environmental Street Furniture that is solely focused on providing anti-ram, crash tested and perimeter security products for all necessary public and asset protection situations. ESF Secure provides not only a wealth of information to our clients but the company is also Ireland's leading provider of hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) bollards and have been designing, installing and servicing crash tested high-security products for over 20 years. In that time, ESF Secure's HVM security bollards have helped secure high profile sites around the world, using our local team of employed, trained and qualified engineers. ESF Secure was formed in 2019 when Environmental Street Furniture CEO Alan Lowry merged with Irish security firm, Sentry Posts Ltd. The acquisition of Sentry Posts Ltd marked another important stage in the growth for ESF providing greater access to a wider customer base and enabling them to provide a more comprehensive and structured product portfolio. After the recent Manchester terror attack, there has been a growing number of calls from both government (NPSA) and independent security consultants and businesses (PSSA) regarding the use of Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM). HVM is a generic term that covers a range of products, solutions and protective measures designed to combat vehicle-borne threats. Vehicle-borne threats can take the form of vandalism or targeted attacks by terrorists or criminals. ESF Secure have completed a number of high profile HVM projects and eagerly await the full publication of the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill from the UK Government. This Bill is a new piece of anti-terrorism legislation, designed to ensure the public is better protected from a “multifaceted, diverse and continually evolving” terror threat. ESF Secure have been honoured to be able to supply their HVM perimeter protection products across the world, most notably over 700 items of furniture and perimeter security to the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, pairing the extensive range of contemporary street furniture with heavy duty crash tested bollards around the outside of the 17,000 person capacity arena.
