Alternative Venues London

We are a non-profit organisation which generates additional funding for the Cadets and Reserves of Greater London by hiring out Military Venues in London for various different types of activities.

Alternative Venues London (AVL) is the dedicated venue hire department within the Greater London Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Association (GLRFCA).

With 40 Reserve Forces and 75 cadet sites spread across London available for commercial venue hire, the money generated by AVL is directly reinvested in supporting the Reserves and Cadets and helping maintain the Estate.

Our facilities are affordable and secure for various activities, with an amazing combination of outdoor and indoor training spaces for either classroom or physical training.

Most of our halls offer large spaces and can be adapted to several training requirements.

• Corporate Events

Meetings – Conferences – Exhibitions – Team Building

AVL has a number of sites located in central London, which are perfectly suited for conferences. Our large halls are much in demand, accommodating up to 250 guests. Different set ups are available to best suit your event, our spaces are the perfect blank canvas for you to transform and host an impressive exhibition, trade show or product launch.

For up to 50 guests, smaller rooms are available for meetings and presentations. All unique in their own way, always with a lot of character and history. Whether you require a large space for holding a conference or an elegant meeting room, our venues can offer the choice of both. These can be used independently or jointly, for example when using a breakout or catering room to support your main event.

Our venues are also ideal for team-building events and corporate away days, offering a spacious facility to carry out fun and challenging activities with the option of outdoor space in various locations.

We have a range of venues and rooms that can offer a unique and elegant space to host a corporate dinner or drinks reception. You can choose a private dining room, bar facility or a large hall.

From our exclusive outside deck over-looking the River Thames to our intimate suite located in the iconic Lincolns Inn, we offer a variety of flexible multi-purpose spaces suitable for private events for up to 250 people.
