Charter Global was initially launched to provide a service to architects and building designers enabling them to incorporate security shutters into architectural designs without compromising the aesthetics of the building or the performance of the security shutter.

Since then, Charter Global has grown to become an industry leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of premium security shutter solutions across a wide variety of building types and security risk profiles, all around the globe.

Driven by product innovation and the need for higher certification levels in some of the most challenging and sensitive security sites, our achievements include:

• the first ever LPS 1175; Issue 7 SR5 for security shutters introduced to the UK market  and now upgraded to Issue 8 E20.
• design and manufacture of the world’s first and only security shutters independently certified to LPS 1175 Issue 8 G5, G10 and G15 category.
• the only UK company to hold security certification for shutters from the US Department of State.
• certification from the National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) for our Obexion MD XR shutter.

OUR BRANDS

OBEXION
Obexion is our highest performing shutter and offers ultra-high security protection in a multitude of applications. 
The Obexion MD range is certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) up to LPS 1175 Issue 8 G15 and is used in defence and government sites as well as for projects using toxins, pathogens and radiological materials. 

The Obexion MD XR shutter has also achieved independent approval by the NPSA for use by the UK Government plus certification from the US Department of State.

INTEGR8
Integr8 Security Shutters are a specialist range of built-in roller shutters for applications including local government sectors covering community, healthcare and education. 

By removing the need for an unsightly head-box, built-in roller shutters sit within the load-bearing lintel of an aperture. Engineered to integrate within the very fabric of the building structure, Integr8 Shutters focus on causing minimal disruption through lintel specification.

Equilux is Charter Global’s premium brand dedicated to tailored physical solutions for securing prestigious residential and heritage properties. 

Often being actively involved with architects from the outset of the project, we are able to ensure premium bespoke solutions and our meticulous attention to detail ensures a stylish, secure finished product, sympathetic to the design and architecture of the property.
