New survey for responding to terrorist incidents

CPNI and the National Counter Terrorism Security Office are developing new training programmes for security operators, to help in their response to terrorist incidents, including Marauding Terrorist Attacks.

To improve the effectiveness of the training, a new survey has been created, intended for organisations that use a security control room. The organisations are inviting responses from anyone who operates within a control room, including security officers, CCTV operators, supervisors and managers.

The survey format is an online form that you can fill out on a computer, tablet or phone. It will take approximately 20 minutes and you do not need to complete every field. The questions will be about your role, your training to date, and the training you would like to see in the future.

The results of the survey will be used by CPNI and NaCSTO to inform the development of the training package for control room operators.
