Neo-Nazi conspiracy theorist jailed

An extreme right-wing conspiracy theorist has been jailed at Liverpool Crown Court, after admitting stirring up racial hatred and possession of a gun, ammunition and a flick knife. Alan Madden from Port Sunlight in Wirral was jailed for seven-and-a-half years. The court heard that he smuggled a semi-automatic pistol home from South Africa and kept it in his bedroom. During a raid on his home, police found a firearm in a box in his bedroom, along with 384 rounds of ammunition. An examination of two laptops and a phone found he had "extreme right-wing views" and an "unhealthy interest in firearms, weapons and proscribed organisations". The court heard Madden shared shared speeches by Adolf Hitler online and a video promoting National Action. He was also in possession of Brenton Tarrant's manifesto. Image by Paul from Pixabay
