More people charged in relation to Cambridge and Chesham incidents

Three more men have been charged in relation to a series of incidents in Cambridge and Chesham in December and January.

Asaf Afsar has been charged with conspiracy to assault and occasion bodily harm – in relation to an incident in Chesham on 24 December, 2025; and conspiracy to assault and occasion bodily harm – in relation to an incident in Cambridge on 24 December, 2025.

Liam McGarry has been charged with conspiracy to assault and occasion bodily harm– in relation to an incident in Cambridge on 24 December, 2025.

Mark Regan has been charged with conspiracy to assault and occasion bodily harm – in relation to an incident in Chesham on 24 December, 2025; and conspiracy to assault and occasion bodily harm – in relation to an incident in Cambridge on 24 December, 2025.

All three were arrested on Tuesday, 3 February in connection with the ongoing investigation, which is being led by officers from Counter Terrorism Policing London.
