Ukraine denies drone strike on Kremlin

Russia has claimed that a drone attack on the Kremlin was an attempt on President Vladimir Putin's life.
The president's office said two drones had been downed over the Kremlin. They were disabled using electronic radar assets. Putin was not there at the time of the alleged attack.
There is unverified footage of the alleged attack which is circulating online.
Russia said that Ukraine had attempted a strike on the president's residence in the Kremlin and claimed it was "a planned terrorist act and an assassination attempt on the president".
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has denied that Ukraine carried out an attack. Ukraine says the accusations are pretext for attacks in Ukraine.
On Wednesday, strikes in the Kherson region of Ukraine killed 23 people.
On Thursday, Zelensky spoke at The Hague. During his speech, he accused Russia of 6139 war crimes in the month of April, which have led to the deaths of 207 Ukrainian civilians.
He also led a minute's silence in memory of those killed in the conflict.
