Nine killed in Serbian school shooting

According to reports, at least eight students and a security guard have been killed in a shooting at a school in Belgrade.

A teacher and six other pupils have been injured and taken to hospital.

According to Reuters, police said a 13-year-old student had been arrested.

The area has been cordoned off and an investigation is underway. The motive for the attack is not yet known.

It is believed the shooter used two guns owned by his father, who has also been arrested. The boy's mother has also been arrested.

The Serbian government has announced a three-day period of mourning.

Serbian officials have said that the attacker planned the shooting a month in advance and had written a list of children to target.
