Critical Communications World 2022 Celebrating the critical communications sector

Registration has opened for Critical Communications World 2022, taking place at the Messe in Vienna, from June 21-23 this year.

Presented by the TCCA and organised by Mark Allen Exhibitions, the event will feature a wide range of conference sessions, delivered by some of the most respected critical communications experts from across the world. The theme this year is “Evolving the Ecosystem”, with multiple topic streams including international perspectives and collaboration, transition to broadband and 5G, cybersecurity and evolving technologies.

In addition to the main conference sessions, keynotes, panel discussions and debates, there will be in-depth Focus Forums. These are deep-dive courses which will provide knowledge-sharing and comprehensive updates on specific areas including interworking, mission critical broadband and future technologies. Each session allows specialists to come together to learn new developments, and to share their own challenges, experiences, and skills.

CCW presents the latest technological developments, with the biggest and best critical communications companies in the world showcasing their products on the exhibition floor. These include sponsors Motorola Solutions, Leonardo, Ericsson, Frequentis, Hytera and many more, with new exhibitions added regularly.

Speaking of why CCW is so important to the sector, TCCA chief executive Kevin Graham said: “Since its inception, CCW has occupied the leading position in the promotion of critical communications technology across the globe. We expect this year’s show to be outstanding across all activities, driving the conversation forward for the benefit of all stakeholders. CCW is a global networking hub, allowing visitors to forge new business relationships and strengthen existing ones. TCCA looks forward to welcoming the critical communications community to Vienna.

Making a return to the exhibition floor this year will be the Government Authorities Global Village, a dedicated space bringing together government operators from across the world. At a time of great change for the industry, the Global Village provides the opportunity for partners and stakeholders to discuss achievements, issues and direction of travel in the continuing journey towards public safety broadband.

New for this year will be the opportunity for visitors to take a CCW Guided Tech Tour. These will take place at dedicated times during the event, offering visitors demonstrations of new and innovative technologies across a variety of product categories including narrowband and LTE devices, VR, robotics and AI.

CCW brings together numerous stakeholders, including manufacturers, users, operators and government representatives, galvanising the sector and moving it forward into the future. This enables users and suppliers to network in a way which is just not available to them in any other environment. Speaking of their experience at the event, a spokesperson from Airbus said: “The main reason for our customers to visit Critical Communications World is to experience new solutions and innovations live with their own hands and eyes. The event also enables them to have conversations with top experts in the field. We at Airbus are excited to finally meet in-person with customers, prospects and partners, and present our new solutions.”

Discussing the show from the user perspective, DSB Director of Department for Emergency Communication, Sigurd Heier, said: “CCW is the most important event for mission critical communications, where industry and users meet and share experiences.”

Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to experience this year’s prestigious International Critical Communications Awards ceremony, taking place on the first night of the event at the beautiful Kursalon.  The ICCAs are the most prestigious awards in critical communications, recognising the success of products, organisations, and individuals across 15 categories that have pushed boundaries and capabilities within the field.

Taking place in the historic city of Vienna, Critical Communications World 2022 is the must-visit event for anyone with an interest in this life saving technology. Taking place from 21-23 June at the Messe Wien, register for free today.
