New group to lobby anti-terror policies

Survivors of UK terrorist attacks have launched a new group to lobby the government over its anti-terror policies and gain greater support for its victims. Also including bereaved relatives, Survivors Against Terror will campaign for more effective measures against terrorism and aim to tackle ‘hate speech that drives terror’, especially on social media. The group also argues that communities need to be better integrated and more inclusive. The group said: "Our collective view is that terrorism can be defeated - but only if we pull together as a country to fight it more effectively. We will work to build a voice for survivors."
