Discarded explosive belt found in Paris
French police are analysing what is thought to be an explosive belt found in a town south of Paris.
The belt was found in a pile of litter in residential streets in the town of Montrouge.
The item is said to resemble the explosive devices used in the Paris Attacks on 13 November, and police are working to establish its composition. If confirmed to be an explosive belt, police believe it could provide important information about the movement of Salah Abdeslam, who is suspected of involvement in the Paris Attacks.
