Woman held at Heathrow over terrorism probe

A 22-year-old woman has been arrested by counter terror police at Heathrow airport, from an inbound flight from Turkey. The woman was arrested on suspicion of membership of a proscribed organisation, contrary to section 11 of the Terrorism Act 2000 and has been detained under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act. The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that she remains in custody while enquiries continue.
