18-year-old arrested for encouraging terrorism

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Command have arrested a man from north-west London on suspicion of encouraging terrorism. The 18-year-old was arrested and is being detained under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) and is currently in custody at a south London police station. Detectives have executed a search warrant at an address in north-west London, but are yet to release further details.
