Putting information security on the agenda

Infosecurity Europe features the largest and most comprehensive education programme, and over 315 exhibitors showcasing the most diverse range of products and services to 12,000 visitors. The 21st edition of the event will take place at Olympia in London, 7-9 June 2016.

The Infosecurity Europe visitor audience is made up of a diverse range of IT security professionals coming from key sectors such as: IT distribution companies; IT hardware, software, manufacturers and suppliers; finance, banking and insurance professionals; and government professionals. Such a broad audience enables exhibitors to generate sales leads, enter new markets, generate branad awareness, assess competition and showcase the best products and services they have to offer.

With 12,006 unique visitors from 80 countries passing its doors, Infosecurity Europe 2015 was a great success. 15,614 information security professionals, service providers, vendors, and thought‑leaders networked, engaged and conducted business, making the show a success from both the business end users and vendors point of view.

Conferences
Addressing the latest challenges in information security, the Infosecurity Conference programme provides you with business critical insight, best practice and practical case studies. Speakers included information security thought-leaders from public and private sector end‑users, policy‑makers and government, analysts, industry experts, service providers and vendors.

Featuring eight conference and seminar theatres and a comprehensive programme of workshops and training courses, the Infosecurity Europe 2016 Conference Programme offers something to meet all educational needs.

The Keynote Stage provides attendees with direct access to unrivalled information security knowledge and expertise from some of the industry’s leading end‑user practitioners, policy-makers, analysts and thought-leaders. Delegates will gain new ideas, insight and actionable intelligence to enable them to streamline their information security strategy, accelerate the effectiveness of their security tactics and reinforce the critical position of the information security function. Key themes to be addressed in the 2016 Keynote Stage agenda include: securing the connected human – effective strategies and tactics to mitigate the human risk; building cyber resilience in a connected enterprise – ensuring the basics of resilient security are in place and new approaches to detect and respond to security incidents; privacy and security in a connected world: – tools, techniques and strategies to protect data privacy, secure information and balance privacy and security; and securing the Internet of Things – understanding the new technology paradigm and the implications for information security.

The Tech Talks are a series of inspiring, bite‑size presentations addressing the latest technical challenges, and sharing up‑to‑the‑minute information security and cyber‑security insight, knowledge and expertise. It provides an opportunity for delegates to gain up‑to‑the‑minute technical know how on how to address the latest threats and vulnerabilities, discover new tools, techniques and skills to successfully combat today’s sophisticated security adversary, and access insight and knowledge that you can take back and apply to your organisation. Alternatively, visitors can hear about new and existing products, services and solutions as exhibiting companies take to the stage at the Technology Showcase to demonstrate the capabilities of their information security solutions.

The Cyber Growth Partnership, in association with The Department for Business, Innovation & Skills and techUK, is supporting a new UK Cyber Innovation Zone, which launched at Infosecurity Europe 2015. The zone was used to showcase eleven small innovative UK cyber security businesses.

Networking
Infosecurity Europe 2016 will once again bring three exciting days of multiple opportunities for you to network with a global audience of over 15,500 information security professionals. Whether you are a junior or senior member in the industry, in the past, the event featured world-class companies such as Europol, Nike, Mozilla, Microsoft, Santander and many more.

Located at the heart of the venue, the networking bar is the most popular place for both visitors and exhibitors to gather. Come along during the day to relax and chat in a friendly atmosphere while enjoying a drink or a snack. Taking the format of two hour sessions, visitors are offered the chance to put their skills and knowledge to the test at the shows workshops, and network with their peers during interactive, practical sessions.

Intelligent defence
Infosecurity Intelligent Defence 2016 is a two-day, technical security conference stream, taking place within Infosecurity Europe. Now in its second year, the conference sessions focus on the latest research including research into vulnerabilities and exploits, and how to defend against them. Infosecurity Intelligent Defence 2016 provides an exciting platform for the latest technical research and defensive tools and techniques to be shared with the wider professional information security community. Take a deep‑dive into the latest risks, trends, cyber attack methodologies and intelligence-based defence strategies to detect, contain and respond at Infosecurity Intelligent Defence 2016.
